I use the Bible as a support. Leaf by leaf, in a process of dissection, I remove the content of the ''Sacred Book'', subtracting the words, texts and teachings until it becomes a hollow object, devoid of meaning and purpose.
Destroys the 'message' to build a new narrative. A new Tower of Babel.
This Tower that rises through the overlap and mix of elements of Gothic culture, contemporary architecture and religious buildings. We see at the base the Vatican, a minaret of the Mecca Mosque and a Synagogue, side by side, forming the foundations of this great structure. We are before the three great monotheistic religions, the religions of the book (Christianity, Islam, Judaism), at the top we see a mausoleum and a confessional - a reference to death and sins.
Is not this tower a perfect allusion? For like the tower, all religions share the same base, follow the same purpose and aim to reach the same end - life after death.

Pt| Utilizo a Bíblia como suporte. Folha a folha, num processo de dissecação, vou retirando o conteúdo do ‘’Livro Sagrado’’, subtraindo as palavras, os textos e os ensinamentos até se tornar num objeto oco, desprovido de significado e propósito.
Destrui a ‘’mensagem’’ para construir uma nova narrativa. Uma nova Torre de Babel.
Esta Torre que se ergue através da sobreposição e mixagem de elementos da cultura gótica, arquitetura contemporânea e edifícios religiosos. Vemos na base o Vaticano, um minarete da Mesquita de Meca e uma Sinagoga, lado a lado, compondo os alicerces desta grande estrutura. Estamos perante as três grandes religiões monoteístas, as religiões do livro (cristianismo, islamismo, judaísmo), no topo vemos um mausoléu e um confessionário - uma referência à morte e aos pecados.
Não será esta torre uma perfeita alusão? Pois tal como a torre, todas as religiões partilham uma mesma base, seguem um mesmo propósito e pretendem alcançar um mesmo fim – a vida para além da morte.
